Alexander Valley Funk

Alexander Valley Funk

Continuing with our journey around Sonoma County for the Spontaneous Sonoma Series, our third beer was created with micro hitchhikers picked up from the open air of Alexander Valley, California. This pale straw colored wild ale, with mild acidity, was aged in oak barrels and drinks like a sparkling wine. A sour fruit aroma appeals the senses, inviting the first sip of crisp dryness, and leading to a distinctive grape tart finish.

Aging Your Wild Beer
Our Wild Beers are bottled when our brewers believe they are ready to drink. If you would like to live "on the wild side" and age your bottles please do so at your own risk! Secondary fermentation and aging in bottle can produce flavors and bottle pressures that we cannot anticipate! Please store at 40 Degrees.
